General

Overview

Paladin, the most defensive and party-friendly class isn't changed much in ES. Several new skills are added, including Anointed Bear, the first Paladin's native minion and some bow skills for Ranger (Bow Paladin).

Blessed Hammer is still one of the strong skills but isn't almighty in ES. Zealot can't be bad because 500% ED weapons and CtC AMP items are nothing special in ES, and CtC Static jewels can make all weapons like Schaefer's Hammer and Stormlash. Even Smiter, Ranger, and such "Fun Builds" can be hell-viable.

Are Paladin's native auras less significant in ES because of the abundant aura items? Rather no. "Aura when equipped" mods on items receive the synergies, so Paladins can use multiple "synergized" auras in addition to the main aura.
